5 Best Logo Animation Services Ranked (With My Unfiltered Reviews)
table of content
The best logo animation services are offered by specialist motion design studios.
I don’t want to point you toward generic template builders.
While these tools can get your logo moving in minutes, the result isn’t built for your brand and it can’t grow into anything bigger.
I would rather give my logo animation task to a team of creatives because I know they’ll give it their full attention and perhaps even bring their own ideas to it.
We can have confidence that these studios aren’t going to just drop your logo into a pre-made template and call it a day.
Instead, they will dissect your brand’s geometry to build custom, frame-by-frame fluid dynamics .
And then the best studios go one step further, treating your logo animation as the first decision in how your whole brand moves.
We know the way your logo animates will set the rules for your transitions, intros, outros, and everything in between for years to come.
I’ll introduce you to some of the best logo animation services I’ve come across that also help with the wider system.
1 - Motion The Agency
At Motion , we believe logo animation should set the tone for how your entire brand moves.
A good logo animation can become the foundation for your transitions, intros, outros, and even a full motion identity.
And that's exactly the kind of work we love doing.
We've animated 350+ logos for brands across more than 40 countries , and our approach goes beyond making a logo look good for a few seconds.
Take Planful, for example.
Over a year-long partnership, we created more than 100 assets across four of their brands, including 2D/3D logo animations, motion templates, and event content.
We've also worked with Tasknet and Dove Hero from the ground up, helping rebrand their logos and develop visual identities that could grow beyond a single animation.
Then there's Primer, which has returned to our team since 2023 for product launch videos, stylized UI animations, and ongoing brand updates.
That's what makes Motion a good fit for companies looking for more than a standalone logo reveal.
Our work has also been recognized by Clutch, including Top Motion Graphics Company in London for 2026 and Clutch Global awards in 2024 and 2025.
As for pricing, we're happy to be upfront about it.
Fixed-price projects start at $3,480 for a 30-second animation, with delivery in four working days. Source files and full commercial rights are included.
For ongoing creative support, subscriptions start at $3,950 per month, and every project comes with a 14-day money-back policy.
Still unsure what your logo could look like in motion?
We'll create a free custom sample featuring your brand within 48 hours, so you can see what we're capable of before committing.
2 - Buff Motion
Buff seems like a good fit for rebrands that need idents and a full motion toolkit.
Production isn’t necessarily the fastest.
Most projects typically take 8-12 weeks.
There is no standard public price for the logo animation services on their website because pricing is given after a quote.
They have a dedicated portfolio of logo animation and it’s treated as part of a brand’s wider motion identity.
IMEX’s 2023 rebrand is a good example of their logo animation work.
For this project, Buff built three animated logo idents around the event organiser’s brand pillars, plus a sonic logo.
This included abstract geometry and shifts between 2D and 3D.
IMEX then had a reusable visual and audio language for social channels and event screens.
If you need broader motion toolkits with looping versions, intros and outros, titles, transitions, and transparent-background assets, Buff’s studio team can deliver these assets too.
3 - Tricks Studio
Of all the studios I’ve mentioned to you so far, Tricks is the most explicitly focused on logo animation and is best for bringing an existing logo to life without commissioning an entirely new identity.
They have a dedicated service covering 2D and 3D logo animation, email signature animations, and logo sound design.
Their studio team kicks off the process with a brief and a strategy.
They then develop concepts and styleframes as needed, with client check-ins, revisions, and final delivery tailored to the intended use of the logo animation.
Tricks can supply logo animation in the formats you’ll use, including MP4, MOV, GIF, and Lottie.
The turnaround time depends on the complexity of the task, and pricing isn’t published because it’s given after a quote.
4 - Moth Studio
Moth Studio is particularly interested in storytelling and distinctive art direction.
Delivering motion design and 2D/3D animation, there are a lot of interesting projects in this London-based studio’s portfolio.
The logo typically fits inside a broader brand film commission.
Moth’s Amazon Fusion project stood out to me.
This is an internal branding film for Amazon that shows how their brand guidelines apply across sub-brands.
Bold vector graphics and visual allegories are used throughout the piece.
To me, this shows how a studio can bring a brand system to life beyond your standard logo reveal.
In that sense, Moth Studio could be a strong fit if you’re looking for distinctive, art-directed motion identity work, with the logo integrated into a broader brand film or animation concept.
Pricing isn’t published online, so expect to request a quote from the studio team.
5 - Frantic Motion Design
Frantic caught my eye because they position themselves as a premium CGI and motion design studio for ambitious brand reveals.
So rather than specializing in selling simple logo stings, they are focused on product launches and broader video campaigns.
I don’t think Frantic is necessarily a good fit for a quick, low-cost logo animation.
Pricing is, of course, entirely quote-based.
The team can take most animation projects from storyboarding to completion within 4-8 weeks.
A logo animation is likely to be on the lower end of that timescale.
The studio has an impressive portfolio , having delivered high-end work for names such as Sony, Mercedes-AMG, and McLaren.
Those are big names…
Before You Choose a Logo Animation Studio…
Here's one thing I'd recommend: don't make your decision based on a showreel alone.
A studio might have an impressive portfolio, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll understand your brand.
Ask them how they'd approach your logo. What would they do with its shape, typography, or visual identity? And more importantly, could that animation become part of a wider motion system?
You should be able to get a sense of their creative thinking before committing to a project.
At Motion The Agency , we take this a step further by offering a free custom sample featuring your brand within 48 hours.
It's our way of showing you what we'd actually create, rather than asking you to take our word for it.
Because ultimately, you're not just paying someone to animate your logo. You're trusting them with how your brand comes to life.
For this reason, I believe Frantic is best for established brands.
