GotPhoto: Cut Creative Costs
by 65%
While Producing 20+ Multilingual Videos

GotPhoto came to us with one clear goal: to create daily content they could use across multiple platforms and in multiple languages. But they weren’t just looking for a vendor. They needed a creative partner who could move fast, create original videos consistently, and handle resizing and translations on demand. That’s exactly where our subscription model came in, giving them the flexibility, speed, and ongoing support they needed while they focused on growing the business.

Backstory

Who is GotPhoto
and what they need

Smiling man wearing a hat holding a camera, with a laptop screen showing a photo management interface and the text gotphoto.com.
GotPhoto is based in both the USA and Germany, and they're shaking up the people photography industry with smart digital tools. Their goal is to help photographers, the creative pros capturing life’s best moments, grow their businesses and do what they love. After securing new investment, the team started expanding fast and building out their product offerings, which meant they needed way more content, and fast. That's where we stepped in, giving them the creative support to keep up with their momentum.

What they need:
  • Fast turnaround with a flexible team
  • Multichannel approach
  • Language flexibility
What they want

Scope of the project

  • Phone showing a GotPhoto video next to a play button and an editing timeline

    Animated videos

20 different fully animated videos, each with their own goals and purposes, with turnaround time less than 48 hours
  • Phone video being resized for Instagram and X formats

    Multiple platforms and sizes

GotPhoto wanted to reuse the content across all their social media platforms, so for each video, we created alternate versions tailored to different platforms.
  • Digital interface showing language translation from English (ENG) to German (GER) with a central translate icon and a voice waveform below.

    Translated to multi language

Due to GotPhoto's business model, we needed to translate the video into other languages, which led to re-adjusting the timing and animation for each translated version.

The challenges

  • Limited UI assets

Due to internal reasons from GotPhoto’s side, we couldn’t use their UI design files for one of the first videos we did for them; we had to create our own assets.
  • New direction

After receiving new investment, they needed to refresh their brand and create new content. That shift meant more content requests, including resized and translated videos that came in without a set schedule but still needed quick turnarounds.
  • Specific stock footage

Finding stock that worked was tough because the characters had to be from the same series to make the story flow.
  • Language barrier

They needed German translations, so we handled initial drafts before their team refined them. These requests were often last-minute, adding pressure to our daily workflow.
  • Time stamp problem

Even when we received the German script, we didn’t get timestamps for which parts of the script matched the video footage.

Personalization & subscription

GotPhoto needed a fast, reliable partner to support their ongoing content needs across both their English and German brands. Every piece had to be translated and adapted for both markets, and most agencies charge per project without covering extras like resizing or localization, which drives up costs quickly.

Our subscription model solved all of that with one flat monthly rate, unlimited projects and revisions, and a dedicated team ready to jump in whenever they needed us.

Now let’s do a quick comparison:

If they had gone with fixed-price projects:

20 x 90s premium videos | $5,800
= $116,000
20 x Video translations | $1,213
= $24,260
20 x 90s videos aspect ratio reformatting | $1,213
= $24,260
Total
Over $164,000

What they actually paid with our monthly subscription:

$5,980 x 9 months
$53,820
They ended up saving over $100,000, cutting more than 65% of the total cost,
while still getting the same high-quality work and dedicated team support on every project.

What happened
after the project

GotPhoto teamed up with us to scale their content fast, and we delivered over 20 high-quality demo and explainer videos that brought their products to life. On top of those originals, we also handled a high volume of resized and translated versions, bringing the total closer to 30+ finished videos. We built a smooth workflow that kept things moving quickly without sacrificing quality. With our subscription model, they had a dedicated team, real-time collab on Slack, and content that stayed on-brand and on point across every platform. Even after the project wrapped, you can still see our work across almost all of their channels. Just shows how good creative keeps delivering long after it's shipped.
